ANOTHER UNIFORM SET OF MODERATE FRAMED BULL CALVES

RSG Goals

WE, (Carlos and Trina)
(along with our children, and now grandchildren)
have been working since 1993 to develop an

Exceptional

Gelbvieh herd!

There have been many years of sacrifice and hard work that have gone into these bull calves!
We have withstood many fads and philosophies through the years,
because we know
cattlemen get paid by the pound for their cattle!

Our Goal has been to create a Moderately framed bull that can be used confidently
on either heifers or cows.
We like to consider frame score as much as birth weight.
We feel that a 6.0 yearling frame score is a good average frame for a bull.

We also try to make them as affordable as possible.
In offering these bulls by
Private Treaty,
we don't have as much overhead expense,
so we offer you valuable bulls for less money!

RSG Feeding Program

In the summer, our cattle are pastured in various pasture lands.
After weaning our calves come home
and are fed rations of
corn silage and alfalfa hay.
We do not creep feed at anytime.  We do not try to push them.

RSG Performance Recording

Our calves at RSG are constantly being evaluated.
These bull calves have made the cut so far...
We record their growth monthly.  If they fail to grow as we feel acceptable, then they will be moved the steer herd promptly.
The weaning time is a more forgiving period.

We understand that there are many factors that come into play as they make
several adjustments at this time.

You may refer to our website to follow this recording.
Carlos and I weigh the calves, after weaning, as close to the 20th of each month
as we can.

It's been about 25 years since Carlos has been to a Judd Ranch Sale!
What an amazing day this was!
Roger Gatz, from The Cattlemen's Connection, has been helping us with our sire selections over the phone for more than 25 years.  He has become a Valued Friend!
Roger said, "There are just some people you talk to, that you just hope to meet in person some day! And Carlos, you are definitely one of those people!"
Roger is as Genuine a person as you could ever hope to do business with!

Roger we Love you and Peg!
You are our Friends for Life!
